New films

Now out on Netflix is ‘King and the Crook’. This is the tale of Johannes S Andersen – better known as ‘Gulosten’. Andersen was a major criminal during prohibition, and a resistance fighter during WW2, who got away with the murder of two Germans after peace had been declared. But he was also a good friend of King Haakon.

Secondly, being released in Norway in December is ‘Kampen om Narvik’ aka ‘The Battle for Narvik’, where the first official VC of the war was awarded to Captain Warburton-Lee.

Hopefully, it’ll be shown in the UK later this year.
